Deborah Smith is an experienced Osteopath. In addition to practising general osteopathy, she has developed particular skills in the treatment of babies and children, pregnancy related pain.
Deborah has undertaken post graduate training in Cranial Osteopathy and Medical Acupuncture. Both of these techniques enable treatment of a broader range of conditions and improve treatment outcomes for many patients. She is currently studying for an MSc in Child Health to specialise further in the treatment of children and pregnancy related conditions. As part of her studies she has taken a particular interest in symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) in pregnancy and flat-head syndrome in babies.
Deborah is committed to providing top quality osteopathic healthcare for you and your family. She is keen on prevention through education and promoting health from birth. Deborah regularly supports women through their pregnancy relieving low back pain and maintaining good pelvic alignment. She follows up pregnancy care with cranial osteopathy for babies and osteopathic care for mothers to relieve stresses and strains on the body of labour and caring for a baby.
Deborah practices in clinics in Highgate, London, as well as clinics in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
