What can The Fertility Support Company do to improve your fertility?
When striving to achieve a pregnancy, The Fertility Support Company has a specific ethos. We feel that it is important to look after your mental and emotional well-being, as well as the physical aspects of your condition. This approach is supported by both the Western and Chinese understanding of the way that our reproductive health is influenced by our emotions.
For example, we know that stress can play an enormous part in reproduction as it affects the hypothalamus and pituitary glands, which in turn govern ovulation. Similarly, in Chinese Medicine stress can affect the heart, which controls sleep and governs the connection to the uterus. Therefore, when treating anyone with fertility issues, it is always essential to pay attention to both the mental/emotional and the physical aspects of the condition in order to achieve a pregnancy.
Women who come to The Fertility Support Company suffer from a wide spectrum of conditions. Some have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, adhesions, poor ovary function, endometriosis or ‘functional infertility,’ as there is no obvious physical reason why they are not getting pregnant.

The Fertility Support Company also provides support beyond conception. We offer pregnancy and labour guidance sessions to prepare you for childbirth, as well as breech birth turning and 'natural induction’ treatments and once the baby is born we can help treat acid reflux, eczema or psoriasis, asthma, digestive disorder, sleeping difficulties and frequent colds, even in children as young as 3 weeks old.
We ask that the first time you attend a consultation with The Fertility Support Company, you bring the person who will be supporting you through your treatment. This enables you to feel more comfortable, and allows the person who supports you to be fully informed about your treatment.
Ask as many questions as you like - the more informed you are, the better you will be able to understand and participate in your treatment. Additionally, the more information you can bring with you about your condition, including past blood tests or investigations, the better equipped the practitioner will be to assess and treat you, and the more specific we can be with the prognosis.
